Edith
Edith was one of a litter of six mystery mix puppies we found at the Athens pound. We're not sure of Edith's genetic make-up, probably some terrier, some lab, but she definitely inherited the sweetness gene! She's about 50lbs at one year old, and we don't expect her to get any bigger. Edith has a wonderful attitude toward life. She wakes up every morning with a wildly wagging tail and gives everybody multiple morning kisses. She lives with three other dogs and she loves them all. Edith is more of a player than a snuggler (except at nighttime or first thing in the morning) and she's great with all kinds of people, including children. A few months ago, her foster mom took her visiting at a camp for kids with special needs and she was great, calmly letting them all pet her. In fact, she was so relaxed around the crowd of kids that she actually fell asleep! Edith is a smart and obedient girl, who sits and waits nicely for her dinner and takes a treat gently. Like all young dogs, she can occasionally get carried away with joy and jump up to give kisses, but for the most part she tries to control herself ;) Edith is a great dog and some family will be very lucky to have her!
