Penny is a smart and sweet pup who is doing great in her foster home. She loves to give kisses and cuddle and will lay in your lap all day if you let her. She has been amazingly obedient ever since she was a tiny pup, and now her foster mom can even call her away from chasing a squirrel - now that's obedient! Penny is eager to please and when she wants to try something that breaks new ground, she makes eye contact with her foster mom first to see her reaction. If she hears a 'no ma'am' she stops immediately. As a teenage puppy, playing is a big part of Penny's life and she enjoys squeaky toys, ropes, bones and rawhide. She's also a good conservationist, recycling yard debris like leaves and old branches into puppy toys. Penny is housebroken, and only potties in the part of the yard her foster parents prefer. She likes her crate and will run in there at dinner time, nap time or whenever she's asked. Penny lives with two dogs, one tolerant and one a little crabby. She will play with the tolerant dog and lick his ears, and even the crabby dog accepts her as an occasional playmate. Penny is a doll and a half!
