“Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.” – Judy Garland
Welcome Judy! Judy is a cute 11 month old puppy who weighs just under 50 pounds, and will probably be in the 60-80 pound range once full grown. This happy pup has already grown in confidence, and has decided that the proper way to ask Foster Mom for something is through a song!
Judy is now fully potty trained and fully kennel trained! She will go into her kennel on command, and stays quiet inside the kennel while Foster Mom is gone. Judy views her kennel as her safe space, and goes in there on her own to chew on her toys! She loves hanging out with her human friends, and especially loves getting attention. Sometimes Judy gets so excited when she’s around her new human friends that she forgets to keep all four paws on the ground – but she’s working on it!
Judy loves playing with other dogs! She is a very playful pup, and loves it when Foster Mom takes her to the dog park. Judy loves to run around and wrestle with other dogs around her, but is very respectful if a dog tells her that they don’t want to play. She has also been around puppies and kids, and has been very gentle with them. 😊 We have found out that Judy does well living with feline friends – she now lives with four! Foster Mom told us that Judy will even try to cuddle up to them if the cats let her!
Judy is an energetic pup! She currently is content with trips to the dog park and play sessions at home with her canine-buddies. Once she’s older, she would make a great jogging/running partner. Besides that, Judy can get some of her energy out by jumping on and off the couch! Foster Mom told us that Judy doesn’t always nail the landing, but Judy told us that she totally meant to land half-on half-off the couch – so you decide who you believe. 😂
