Meet Kaylee! Kaylee is a precious Boxer/Terrier mix who weighs about 45lbs. She is a little underweight, but her healthy weight will be right around 50lbs. Kaylee is just about a year old and a very sweet girl.
Need a dog that’s housebroken and crate trained? Here you go! Kaylee doesn’t have a signal so it’s important to let her out regularly or keep her on a schedule to make sure she has the opportunity, and as far as her crate is concerned, she loves it! Kaylee’s crate is her safe space and she will happily hang out and take naps in it during the day. When told to ‘go,’ Kaylee will trot right in, willingly! Loud noises and sudden movements scare this little gal, so she runs into her crate for safety as well.
It can be tough for dogs and cats to get along, but Kaylee doesn’t mind her feline siblings. There are currently three bold and feisty cats living in the same household and she’s shown minimal interest. In addition to the cats, there is another female dog that Kaylee lives with and they are warming up to each other. At the dog park, she does great with all the commotion and loves making new friends. Her recall is getting better and better and it’s so adorable to see how excited she gets when she recognizes one of her humans.
A couple walks per day and a good play session will keep Miss Kaylee content, napping for the rest of the day wherever she is allowed. Jumping onto furniture is a work in progress as she is not the most graceful of animals… she tends to attempt her leap in slow motion, causing her to fall off in the process… But she loves giving kisses and cuddles once she manages to make it on the couch 😉 Playing with toys is a favorite past time for Kaylee and she’s even learning to play fetch! You can tell she seeks approval with how eager she is to please. Checking in with Foster Mom on walks proves this as well; she wants you to know how good she’s being.
If you’re looking for a sweet love-bug who adores belly rubs, you got her. This well-mannered pup is ready to find her forever home! With a little boost in her confidence, she’ll be trotting around like nobody’s business, ready to get snagged up!
