Ramona – Adoption Pending!
“She was not a slowpoke grownup. She was a girl who could not wait. Life was so interesting she had to find out what happened next.” Beverly Cleary, Ramona the Pest
Welcome Ramona! Ramona is a 2 year old, 25 pound affectionate pup who loves hanging out with her friends.
Ramona is fully potty trained! She signals by whining, pawing at the door, or sitting by the door. She is still learning about how cool her kennel is, but will go in for a treat. She’ll whine for a bit when first left alone, but settles down quickly and relaxes until Foster Mom returns. Ramona already knows the command “sit,” and is working on learning the command “leave it.”
Ramona loves to be around other dogs! She currently lives with Foster Mom’s personal dog, and is more confident when she’s around him. It’s all happy tail wags and smiles when Ramona meets another dog, she just can’t wait to make a new friend. If you run into Ramona when she’s out and about, she might give you a few barks to say “hey!” but melts into a puddle once she’s close enough to get pet and to give kisses.
Ramona is a very affectionate pup, who loves to give her people kisses and gets wiggly when she’s around them. She isn’t a super needy pup, but does like to be in the same area as her human and canine companions. Ramona is able to entertain herself, and will occupy herself with a bone, or will sit in the windowsill to birdwatch if her friends are busy. This cuddle bug doesn’t need too much activity – she’s content with a few medium walks, a play session here or there, and then is ready to cuddle up with Foster Mom!
Can’t wait to meet Ramona? Then contact us today, she’s ready to make a furever friend!
