Meet Ramsey! This gorgeous Shar Pei/Pitty mix is about 50lbs and might grow a little more into his shoes. Ramsey is the perfect go-with-the-flow pup who likes to kickback and just chill.
Ramsey is slowly coming out of his shell and getting to learn what being playful is all about when it comes to other dogs. He’s a bit submissive but super friendly and very sweet to all new acquaintances. He’d be great at the dog park and doesn’t need soft introductions. Whether it’s a dog or a human, Ramsey will trot right up to them with great confidence – even though he’s submissive, he does a great job at being outgoing. The only thing he seems a little unsure of is car rides, but he’s adjusting better and better with each adventure.
Have trouble getting your kids out of bed in the morning? Well, Ramsey is going to give you those same problems. He REALLY likes to sleep in, so don’t expect him to be your alarm! Don’t get me wrong, he’ll get excited and playful with toys, he’d just rather chill on the couch if given the option 😊 He’s fully housebroken and keeps his crate clean both during the day and through the night when sleeping. Crate training is practically a success but he does protest upon first entering. Once he settles down, he’ll stay quiet and relax. Ramsey absolutely loves children and is very tolerant of their learning curve for how to treat dogs. Despite the poking and prodding 2-year old he met, kisses were still a requirement!
Exercise is still necessary for a lazy dog, but a good walk around the block should do the trick. Afterward, a nice cuddle session is a must. Ramsey isn’t needy by any means, but he does enjoy a good cuddle-sesh. Chilling on the couch alone or on a bed is just as comfy for him. If there’s one thing he needs to work on, it may be his laziness… but is that really a problem?!
