Ringo – Adopted!!!
“People only look at me as a Beatle, but my friends look at me as a whole person. That’s how life works, but it’s not bugging me anymore.” Ringo Starr
Introducing Ringo!
This fun little guy is about 8 months old and currently weighs in at 31 pounds. He will likely top out around 50-60 pounds, but it’s just an estimate so don’t be too surprised if it’s a little more or less.
Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands
Ringo is quickly getting the hang of things! He’s nearly housetrained, with us confidently saying he’s house trained when let outside regularly! He sleeps through the night as long as he hasn’t had a drink of water too close to bedtime (those midnight potty breaks really do just catch up with you sometimes)!
He is completely housetrained. He will happily go in the crate if food and treats are involved. He may protest just a bit (all the fun is outside his crate!) but he quickly settles.
Ringo also knows how to sit on command. Good boy!
Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids
Ringo grew up in a home with children before coming to ACR so he’s used to being around them, though we always suggest that children are taught to respect family pets when introducing any new animals to the household.
Ringo currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and loves being around them! He’s a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s happy to play and coexist (or sit on his foster canine brother).
Ringo has not at this time met any cats.
Behavior around People
Ringo is a bit of a shy puppy at first, but once he warms up, he’s excited to meet new friends and get attention. He doesn’t demand it though and is happy to just leisurely hang around his people.
Exercise Needs
Ringo is a typical puppy and loves to play! He is known to get zoomies frequently and can be seen leaping like a deer in the yard — bringing belly laughs to everyone around him.
