Uli – Pup of the Week!
Welcome Uli! This pug x shepherd x possibly min-pin x cuteness is around 2 years old and weighs 31 pounds!
Looking for a house broken and crate trained dog? Look no further! Uli isn’t great about signalling when she needs to potty, but she’ll hold it until she gets to go out. She also goes into her crate if you provide her a treat, and quiets down after a little while (or if you ask her to hush). Besides mastering those skills, Uli has also shown Foster Mom that she is a leash-walking master! Her people skills are also on-point, as Uli loves her people. Uli is affectionate, but doesn’t smother Foster Mom with attention. If her Foster Mom is busy, she is content to entertain herself with toys.
Uli is also great with kids! She was around some middle-school aged kids and did wonderfully, she just soaked up all the attention they wanted to give her. She also is good with dogs, and lives with a couple of dogs in her foster home. Depending on her canine friend’s personality, Uli can be playful or a little shy, it just depends on how she’s feeling. Uli is also a good dog-park dog, and it is a great place for her to get some of her energy out. She doesn’t need too much exercise or activity, she just has a couple bursts of energy throughout the day.
Overall, Uli is a good, laid back dog. She currently is growing her hair out due to a paint-fiasco that happened before the Athens Animal Control found her, but Uli promises that she normally has better hair days.
