SUMMARY:Run Your Tail Off
DESCRIPTION:Come run your tail off at our 10th annual 5k run!\nOctober 13\, 2019\n  \nRegister Online: www.active.com/ Price increases on October 3rd\, so register early! \nRegister by Mail:  Complete the registration form and submit it with a check made payable to Athens Canine Rescue to: Athens Canine Rescue\, Inc.\, 585 Snapfinger Drive\, Athens\, GA  30605. One entry per person. Entry form may be copied. \nEntry Fees:  $20.00 includes a t-shirt and $15.00 for no t-shirt if postmarked by October 2\, 2019. $25.00 includes a t-shirt as supply lasts and $20.00 for no t-shirt if postmarked after October 2\, 2019. \nRace Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 1PM \n5K: Starts at 2PM \nAwards:  Awards will be presented to Overall M/F\, Masters M/F\, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. Each attending dog will also be presented with a prize. \nShirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 10/2/19.  Those who register after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments for both humans and canines. \nCourse:  The 5K course is run entirely on the Greenway at Sandy Creek Nature Center. It is run on paved surface. \nSeries Affiliation: The race is part of the Clover Glove and Black Back Race Series. It is USATF Certified and is an OFFICIAL AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFYING RACE! Certification #GA17024DJ \nDogs: Dog are welcome and encouraged to participate\, but must be well behaved\, on a leash and vaccinated.  You must also clean up after your pet before\, during and after the race. \nOther Info: In case of rain\, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues\, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. \nQuestions: For more information\, contact president@athenscaninerescue.com \nThank you to our sponsors!
