“And if somebody doesn’t tell me I’m cute in the next five minutes, I’m gonna scream!”
Jackie Burkhart, That 70’s Show
Introducing Jackie! This pretty hound dog is around a year old and weighs in at 48 pounds. With confirmation that she’s healthy – she’s ready to take on the world (and find her forever home)!
Jackie has impressed us all! This girl is already housebroken and crate trained. When she has to potty, Jackie lets her foster mom know by sitting by the door and whining. Because she was initially on crate rest due to her spay, her foster mom was able to see that she’s a well-mannered girl in her kennel – even going in when she sees the door open! She may protest for a bit when she thinks you’re having fun without her, but she eventually settles and behaves just as you’d hope.
True to her namesake, Jackie thinks she’s got all the cuteness you could ever need in an animal and needs a home where she is the only pet.
For exercise, because she’s a larger dog, she likely will benefit from longer walks and lots of playtime with her people to get her energy out – but make no mistake, she’s still an easy-going girl. Because of how much of a diva she is, we require Jackie going to a home that understands that she needs to be leashed or in a six foot fence at all times. There are no exceptions.
As far as humans go – Jackie has never met a stranger. This girl is kissy, cuddly, and everything in between! She will go the distance to make sure her humans know they’re loved; however, she also knows that means you need to love her back, and she’ll make sure you show her by demanding your affection if she feels lonely.
Jackie is just the perfect girl. She was born with just two toes on one foot, and we think that makes her even more charming. This girl is definitely one of a kind! Does she sound up your ally? Contact us today!
