“Never treat anything you do as a stepping stone. Do it fully and follow it completely.” – Mira Nair
Meet Mira! This beautiful girl is about 8 months old and weighs about 41 pounds. She’s a big, loveable girl that is more than ready to find her forever home.
Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands
Mira is not only housebroken, but she also has a signal when she needs to go out! She runs to the door, looking over her shoulder to make sure you see her, and then waits patiently to be let out. What a smart girl! Mira also is a pro at this crate-training business — she is still learning how to go in on command but can certainly be enticed with a treat. She sometimes whines in quiet protest for the first few minutes, but then she settles in for the night. Mira is still a puppy, and her foster mom figured out the hard way that Mira is still learning the difference between toys and shoes when left unattended.
Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids
Mira is a big fan of her foster dog sibling and loves wrestling with her. So far she has only met one other dog while out on a walk and she sure did want to play with him! True to her age, Mira has playful energy and seems to be willing to make new friends at every turn.
Behavior around People
Mira is a little shy at first, but she warms up very quickly and her confidence is growing by the day. She loves kissing and cuddling with her foster mom, and she was a rockstar at the vet. She had some stranger danger during one late-night potty break, but in general, Mira loves every opportunity to make new friends.
Mira is currently going on a couple short walks with her foster mom, plus engaging in several play sessions with her foster sibling during the day. Mira has some puppy energy to burn so it’s after these energy expending activities that she can settle down for the evening (or a quick nap during the day).
Mira is full of life and full of love. Are you ready to go on this adventure with her? Contact us today!
