“Always have something beautiful in sight, even if it’s just a daisy in a jelly glass.”

H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Meet our newest meatball, Daisy!

Daisy weighs 50 pounds and is estimated to be around 2-3 years old. She has successfully completed heartworm treatment in her foster home and is now looking for her forever home!

Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands

Daisy is crate AND house trained!

Daisy keeps her crate cleans and absolutely LOVES being inside of it! She willingly sleeps in there all night (although I’m sure she wouldn’t argue about being in the bed, hint hint) and stays in there when her people aren’t home.

She is great about holding it and knows that outside = potty and that’s that.

Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids

Daisy lives in a foster home with dogs, cats, and children and is great with ALL of them!

She ignores her feline foster siblings (other than the occasional nose boop) and has done fantastic with all children she’s met, from ages five to sixteen.

She’s similarly done well with her canine foster siblings. She’s a little shy, but mostly indifferent and would rather just laze around.

Behavior around People

Daisy can be a bit of a delicate flower at first with some stranger danger. But once she blossoms, she is the MOST fun dog to have in the house. She loves her people and does the best dances (including one dubbed the “daisy bounce”. She may need some time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll reward you with all the love you could ask for.

Exercise Needs

One word: Zoomies.

Other than a few bouts of zoomies throughout the regular business day, she is happy to just laze around and one or two short walks will likely satisfy her needs.

Our flower is ready for her family bouquet. Does yours have room? Contact us today!
