Introducing Nym!

You may feel like you recognize this beautiful girl and it’s probably because you should — she was born into our program in December of 2022 when she was named “Clove”. This sweet girl was memorable since she had the biggest ears and the sweetest disposition and we’re happy to report that she is largely the same (though she may have grown into her ears).

At just over a year old now, weighing in at 50 pounds, Nym is the perfect girl to add to your family!

Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands

Nym is house AND crate trained! She keeps her crate and the house clean throughout the day, knowing that outside is the place to potty. She doesn’t mind hanging out in her crate and doesn’t give her foster mom a fuss when she’s gotta hang out inside there (especially when food is involved).

Nym is very smart and knows the “sit” and “lay down” commands. She’s currently working on “stay” and “leave it”. She’s extremely food motivated so she’ll have it down in no time.

Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids

Nym is a happy girl and currently lives in a household with dogs, cats, and children.

She loves children and other dogs! If there’s too much going on, she may need a break or two, but otherwise she’s down to party. She ADORES her foster human siblings and is ecstatic to hang out around them.

As far as cats go, she’d likely do best in a home with dog savvy cats who can keep her in her place – especially when she thinks it’s playtime.

Behavior around People

Nym enjoys being around her humans. If she knows everyone is hanging out with her outside the crate, she gets a little bit of FOMO but when she’s outside of the crate, she’s more than happy just to hang out! She loves to hang back and watch what is going on around her.

Exercise Needs

She’s a young dog so she enjoys a good romp, but Nym is also seemingly happy to just independently chew on a bone. She’d do well with a walk or two and then a lazy day lounging around.

Nym’s eyes are striking and her shining personality is a perfect match. Contact us today!
