Meet Terk! 

This beautiful shepherd gal is estimated to be around four years old and weighs in at about 65 pounds! We think she’s truly perfect! 

Housebreaking, Crate-Training, and Commands

Terk is crate AND housetrained! She does great in her crate (sometimes after a brief protest because the party is happening outside of it!) and knows that she is to potty outside. She even has sit and lay down perfected! 

She’s a quick learner and absolutely eager to please.

Behavior around other Dogs, Cats, and Kids

Terk hasn’t been around cats or met children while in her foster home just yet. 

She does, however, live with other dogs in her foster home! She does well with her canine foster siblings. She loves to run and play with them, and is great at listening to the social cues they give her! 

Behavior around People

Terk LOVES her people! When you meet her, especially with treats, she’s happy to make fast friends with kind and respectful humans. She loves to get pets and cuddles, but also doesn’t mind just hanging around — especially if her humans are in her radius! 

She can be a bit nervous at first but that makes her loving you that much sweeter.

Exercise Needs

Like most shepherds, Terk needs exercise! She thrives when she gets to run and play and get her energy out. She loves to have play sessions with her humans and to explore/go for walks. Once that energy is out, she’s fine to nap but she wants to run first!
